AttorneyBernie.com is pleased to announce a $1,000 scholarship for a high school Junior/Senior or a student pursuing a college or advanced degree. The recipients of these scholarships must meet the eligibility and selection criteria detailed below.
Criteria for Eligibility
Applicants will be considered based on their ability to meet the following eligibility requirements and selection criteria:
- The scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- The scholarship funds can be used for tuition, room and board, books, and/or other fees at an accredited program within the United States where the student is currently enrolled or intends to enroll.
Essay Topics
Choose one of the following essay topics and respond in 500-1,000 words. Please do not exceed 1,000 words.
- Describe how your pursuit of higher education aligns with your commitment to helping others and contributing to your community. How do you hope your education and future career will enable you to advocate for those in need?
- Discuss a person, experience, or event that inspired you to pursue your field of study. How has this inspiration shaped your academic and career goals, and how do you plan to use your education to effect meaningful change?
