Overview The LRAEF Scholars program provides financial support to qualified individuals who are pursuing post-secondary and graduate education with the goal of building a career in the culinary, foodservice, tourism, or hospitality fields. Awards are based on merit and the amount available; the foundation may consider exceptions for applicants with special circumstances. Overview This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll at a college, university, community college, or technical school in Louisiana. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Introduction We are committed to supporting the continuation of agriculture by encouraging the next generation of farm and ranch families. To that end, we established a tax-exempt foundation that provides scholarships to qualified students pursuing agriculture-related studies. The first two scholarships were awarded in 1993.
