Introduction
Since its founding, PGA REACH New England has distributed more than $1,000,000 in college scholarships to the children, grandchildren and step-children of PGA Professionals, as well as to junior golfers across New England. Under the guidance of PGA REACH New England and its Scholarship Committee, we are committed to increasing both the number of scholarships awarded and the total funds available each year. Details about current awards, eligibility rules and how to apply are provided below.

How to Apply — Procedures and Checklist
To be eligible for consideration by PGA REACH New England, applicants must fully complete the appropriate scholarship application. All information provided must be accurate; application materials are treated confidentially by the foundation and by the review committees.
Use the checklist below to prepare your submission. Review the specific eligibility requirements for each scholarship before applying, as individual awards may have additional conditions.
Typical materials requested (applicants may be required to submit some or all of the following):
- Essay: A brief essay (500 words or fewer) explaining why you should receive the scholarship.
- Transcript: Official or unofficial transcript(s) from the prior academic year's fall semester.
- Acceptance Letter: A copy of your college or university acceptance letter.
- Extracurricular & Volunteer Activities: A description of community involvement, volunteer service or other relevant activities.
- Letters of Recommendation: One or more recommendations from non-family members (examples: Golf Professional, employer, high school coach, teacher) who can attest to your qualifications and character.
- Professional Headshot: A head-and-shoulders photograph or professional portrait for use if selected.
