Christopher King Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Cobb Community Foundation
Introduction
Chris King was a percussionist with the Lassiter High School Band from 2011 to 2015. He passed away in April 2016. Chris treasured his time in the LHS Band and the friendships he formed there. His closest bandmates remember him as kind, helpful, accepting, protective of others’ dignity, welcoming to underclassmen, and quick to steer attention away from anyone who felt embarrassed. In his memory, Chris’s parents have created the Chris King Memorial Scholarship.
