Eligibility

The scholarship is open to students at trade schools, colleges, or universities, and to high school seniors planning to begin such programs. Applicants must be legal residents of the United States and reside in any of the 50 states or Washington, D.C. Employees of Kopfler & Hermann, Attorneys at Law, their immediate family members, and household members are not eligible to apply. Applicants must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.

Eligibility: Open to U.S. residents enrolled in or entering post-secondary education; excludes firm employees, their close relatives, and household members; minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Application Requirements

Applications are submitted online and must include a personal essay, a résumé, and academic records. The essay should be 750–1,000 words answering the prompt about a difficult challenge, its impact, and the steps taken to move forward. All essays will be reviewed for AI-generated content; submissions identified as containing AI writing will be denied. Additional documentation may include official or unofficial transcripts and proof of college acceptance for high school students.
