INTRODUCTION
Students enrolled in any Stanislaus County high school are invited to apply for scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year. Six awards will be granted, each ranging from $500.00 to $2,000.00. Recipients will be chosen based on character, leadership, community involvement, extracurricular participation, academic record, the personal essay, recommendation letters, and demonstrated financial need.

ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a graduating senior from a Stanislaus County high school.
- Must have an acceptance to a college, university, vocational, or technical program for the 2025–2026 academic year.

REQUIRED MATERIALS (each applicant must submit)
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from people who know you well and can evaluate your work ethic and character. These should come from a school representative or another non-family member qualified to assess your performance and integrity.
- An official high school transcript that includes grades/scores through the most recently completed semester.
- A completed application form and any additional documents requested for the scholarship.
- A personal essay of 500 words or fewer that is specific to the scholarship(s) for which you are applying. The essay should describe your educational goals, accomplishments, leadership and character, and explain your financial need.

ESSAY GUIDELINES
- Maximum length: 500 words.
- Content must be tailored to the particular scholarship(s) you seek and include: educational objectives, notable achievements, leadership qualities, personal character, and an explanation of financial need.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
- Package must include: completed application, essay, official transcript, and two recommendation letters. Applications missing any of these items will not be considered.

- Recommendations and transcripts will be treated as confidential.

DEADLINES & NOTIFICATION
- All materials must be received no later than March 31, 2026. Applications will only be accepted through that date.
- Award notifications will be sent by April 21, 2026.

- Character
- Leadership
- Community service
- Academic success
- Personal essay
- Extracurricular activities
- Recommendation letters
- Financial need
