KACo Presidential Scholarship

Overview
The 2026 KACo Presidential Scholarship will be awarded to a student from the home county of the serving KACo president, Union County Judge/Executive Adam O'Nan. One recipient will receive $4,000 per year, renewable for up to four years or until the beneficiary completes an undergraduate degree.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Union County and be enrolled in school within Union County.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.
- Scholarship recipients must plan to enroll, in the fall immediately following graduation, at an in-state college or university or at a two-year technical college.
Selection Process
A committee made up of KACo board members will select the scholarship recipient each year. The current KACo president and any board member who represents the same county as the president are excluded from serving on the selection committee.
Application Period
Applications will be accepted from March 1 through April 5, 2026.
